Utility and boot room ideas for North East homes
On a wet morning, the back door can turn into a pile of coats, muddy shoes and a dog waiting to be dried. A boot room catches all of it at the door. A utility room takes laundry, cleaning supplies and household clutter out of the cooking space. Neither needs to be...
Lighting Design in a Bespoke Kitchen
Bespoke kitchen lighting works on three layers: task, ambient and accent. Task lighting illuminates the worktop and hob where you use the kitchen. Ambient lighting sets the room mood from above. Accent lighting brings glass-fronted cabinetry, plinth lines and shadow...
Fitted Bathroom Furniture Ideas: A Bespoke Maker’s Guide
Fitted bathroom furniture is built into the room as one continuous run. The vanity, the tall storage, the WC unit, the cabinetry that hides the pipes are designed together, fitted to the exact dimensions of the bathroom, and connected by a shared finish, depth and...

Open Plan Kitchen Living Room Ideas for North East Homes
Open-plan kitchen living rooms change how a home works. Instead of cooking in a separate room while the family gathers elsewhere, everything happens in one space. Meals, homework, conversation, entertaining. The kitchen becomes the centre of the house rather than a...
Accessible Bathroom Design: Beautiful Spaces That Work for Every Stage of Life
Accessible bathroom design should feel considered and properly built. Many bathrooms become ‘accessible’ over time. A grab rail is added, a plastic seat appears or a non-slip mat goes down. The room works, but it rarely feels designed that way from the beginning. When...
